The most incredible floral competition is only days away!
The Interflora World Cup 2023 Manchester, England. The olympics of floral design is held every 4 years and moves around to different countries.
It is an honor and a privilege to be a member of the Jury (Judge). I have been fortunate to have judged in 2015 in Berlin, 2019 in Philadelphia and 2023 in Manchester. Competitors from around the globe gather in an intense 3 day competition! They will create 4 tasks, then a semi final 5th task for those with the highest scores moving forward, and then the 6th task for the finalists!
To view and judge the magnificent floral artistry from these extraordinary floral talents is incredible! It’s is such an honor to award the best scores for talent, in over the top creativity, perfection in mechanics, color that commands your attention! It’s Glorious!!!

Deborah De La Flor AIFD, is an active member in the AIFD Southern Chapter. She is on the FTD design team and travels across the United States teaching floral education. She and her husband Gus, own De La Flor Florist and Gardens.
The "Interflora World Cup" is an international design competition of the very best of the best designers from around the world. Designers will be evaluated on the ability to create amazing arrangements that incorporate the Elements and Principles of Design. The competition began in 1972, and has been held all over the world. This competition has been equated to the Olympics of Floral Design.
