The Doral Art and Flowers Festival was held at the Doral Legacy Park, on December 6-8th, 2019. South Florida's premier flower festival was a success, showcasing the best in floral design and floral art talent. This year's theme, "Miami In Bloom" was sure to inspire and amaze art and flower lovers alike.
Doral Legacy Park was transformed into a modern garden for the festival. Sculptural pieces of art created with flowers, plants and organic elements using unconventional materials such as steel, aluminum and wood embellished the interior and exterior of the community center and park. The impressive arrangements displayed were created by local florists and artists.
Floral artists competed in nine different categories to take home the coveted Best In Show award. AIFD and CFD members dazzled the judges with their designs, and took home several awards:

2nd - Magda Perlowin CFD
Special Events Category
2nd - Mary Pereira CFD
Outdoors Professional Category
3rd - Ralph Ventura AIFD
Congratulations to all! And a special recognition to the AIFD members that judged the competition: Eddie Payne AIFD, Nancy Kitchen AIFD, Hilda Dumont AIFD and Leyla Guido AIFD.
